What sells papers in New York...
If you exam the papers in and around New York, one story continually gets more coverage than anything else. From a purely business standpoint The Yankees are the story that sells papers in New York.

Yanks divided.
The players want to keep him (mostly) and management wants to move in a new direction. Or do they? For now Joe Torre's future with the NY Yankees is once again in limbo.
