Newsweek is obsessed with current NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg making an independent run for President. But seriously, 3 lead candidates from NYC (Hillary, Rudy, Bloomy) might cause a 2nd Civil War. The only thing that'll shake up this 2008 field is if Reagan rises from the dead - not that we're a fan of The Gipper - but cause the GOP field is the one floundering. Gore running would help batter Hillary, which wouldn't be a bad thing either. Who knows - maybe Edwards and Romney can make some noise and turn the tables come primary time.
